- Manages 50+ servers in a Active Directory environment, ensuring that each server has 100% uptime
- Troubleshoots problems with server software/hardware, web services, mail services and overall aspects of an enterprise environment.
- Server support for long, medium and short-term projects and resolve daily operational issues.
- Monitor system logs and activity on all servers and devices.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings.
- Coordinate with development team to schedule releases of software updates.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3-5 years experience in Systems Administration
- Bachelor Degree
- Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2000/2003, VMware ESX Server 2.5.x/3.0
- In depth knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of MS SQL Server 2000
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of Terminal Server/Citrix
- Exposure to Storage Area Network and SAN technologies
- Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
- Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.
