SENIOR HELP DESK ANALYST

80% working from a helpdesk phone providing support for 800+ users while administrating our Active Directory and Solaris NIS database. Support for desktop software and hardware, high level skills in Microsoft Office XP, Windows XP Professional, Adobe , Active directory user id maintenance, creating UNIX user id’s and setting permissions on the UNIX file system.

  • Provide day-to-day support via telephone.
  • Create trouble tickets and dispatch Desktop Analyst to end users.
  • Support hardware including PCs, printers, laptops, hand held and RIM devices.
  • Support desktop software and firm-wide applications.
  • Support Remote access systems.
  • Help deploy new software applications.
  • New user ID creation/deletion and maintenance.
  • Provide support for our external clients with internet access problems to our site.
  • Automating system administration tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to design and use system administration scripts.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the Firm.
  • Strong understanding of Windows XP and MS office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus and experience

Salary Range: 100-120k   Submit Resume
